After finally getting dashboard.rcos.rpi.edu to point to the right thing (I had some caching issues), I've pretty much left the project as-is. Of course, there are plenty of things that could be improved, but it seems to be serving its purpose quite well at this point.

I got quite a bit of interest from a couple of groups at RPI and some at other schools early on in the semester, but I haven't gotten a follow-up from any of them. I still think Dashboard has potential for use outside of RCOS, but I don't have the time or inclination to evangelize it.

The RCOS Dashboard is now the official web presence of the Renssleaer Center for Open Source! We're still working on building a consistent theme to apply to both the home page and the rest of the site, so until then there's some inconsistency in styles. Eventually, all of the pages for RCOS will be hosted inside the Dashboard, as opposed to being split between www.cs.rpi.edu/~moorthy/rcos and the Dashboard. This is progress!

Just having a wiki at all was a significant issue, so I made it a column in Dashboard. Things are much better this semester, with over a dozen projects consistently updating every week! Everybody has a Wiki set up now, so I think the column has become fairly pointless. Do we make the project name link to the wiki? What about projects that have a website besides their wiki? I'm not sure what's best for RCOS, so please help me out with some feedback! You can either comment here, email me, or post an issue at http://github.com/epall/oss_dashboard/issues. Since then, it's grown into a larger, more powerful tool with much more functionality, and it's becoming integral to the RCOS process. As such, I figure it's time to list the Dashboard in the Dashboard itself, and that requires having a Blog, Wiki, and Source Code. I'll post updates and plans for future features here as I develop RCOS Dashboard further.
